The years passed. Mrs. Paulsson returned to her normal life. She’d forgotten all about the ring. Suddenly she found it in her vegetable garden. A carrot had sprouted through it. That’s why they were able to find it.
Steve Fleig
A man was trying to find his mother, whom he had lost as a child. When searching, Steve gave her surname by mistake. That’s why the police couldn’t help him. Fleig lost hope of finding his mother. Suddenly a happy accident happened which helped Steve to find his relative.
One day, in a conversation with his boss, he told him that he couldn’t find his mother. When the boss heard her last name, it sounded familiar. It turned out that Steve’s mother also worked in one of the local supermarkets. That’s how they found each other.
Virginia Fike
In 2012, she hit the jackpot in the lottery. It was a victory Virginia had been on her way to for years. She kept betting on the same numbers. Fike explained her choice of winning combination as follows. The woman chose numbers that stood for important dates in her family.

A Japanese man miraculously survived the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. At the time he was working for an organisation. At the time of the first bombing, Yamaguchi was on a business trip to Hiroshima.
When he returned to Nagasaki, the Americans launched a second airstrike.
Harrison Oken
The only survivor of the crew of the ship that sank. Harrison survived completely by accident. During the shipwreck, the man was unable to open the door of the kitchen he was in. The door lock was jammed.
Harrison had to seek salvation in the engine room. A so-called air bag formed there. It was this that saved Ocean from a fierce death.

She was truly born in a shirt. In 1971, the plane Juliana was on crashed somewhere in the wilds of Brazil. The girl survived.
For several days, Köpke struggled to find her way out of the Brazilian jungle. Eventually she succeeded. Juliana came across a loggers’ hut. They were the ones who helped Köpke out of the jungle.
Maarten de Jong
A man miraculously escaped a plane crash. He had to give up his tickets for a Malaysian Airlines flight at the last minute. Both flights crashed. None of the passengers survived.
Maarten considers himself very lucky. According to the Dutchman, a higher power saved him from death.
Reshma Begum
A woman from Bangladesh was trapped under the rubble of the Rana Plaza factory. The manmade disaster took many lives. As for Reshma, she survived.
The woman waited for 17 days for rescue workers to find her. It later transpired that Begum had found food and drinking water supplies under the ruins of the factory. So she managed to hold out until the rescue team arrived.
Frano Selak
The Croatian was involved in several car accidents. Frano barely survived the plane crash. Many thought he was born with his shirt on.
Selak soon confirmed this claim. The fact was that Frano had made a big score in the lottery. He guessed the winning combination and became rich by several hundred thousand dollars.
